On March 20th and 21st, 2019, partners of the COBIA initiative met to share their results after one year of work and to identify the new challenges for 2019. The objectives for this year will consist, in particular, to assess and inventory vulnerable marine areas in West Africa, to structure civil society actors to monitor the environmental impacts of offshore extractive activities and to strengthen regional cooperation for better management of the sector.
